Toronto is home to over 2.6 million people. But, what makes Toronto, Canada’s largest city, so unique? Aside from the Toronto skyline, there are several reasons that make this city so vibrant and diverse.

1. A Variety of Transportation Options

Getting around is easy due to the variety of transportation channels. The transit system of subways, trams, buses, Uber, taxis and a train linking downtown Toronto to Pearson Airport makes it easy to get around. There is also commuter bikes all around the city if you want to get around with two wheels. However, everything is so close that getting around by foot is easy.

The city is a paradise for any culinary enthusiasts. It has ongoing food events and renowned restaurants like Momofuku Shōtō and Café Boulud. You can find high-quality international cuisine everywhere.

Additionally, it contains leading university in Canada such as the University of Toronto and Ryerson University, both known for their excellent academic programs.

The city offers attractive public places such as Nathan Phillips Square which hosts farmers’ markets, concerts, and art displays. Free concerts, film screenings, and other events are found at Yonge-Dundas Square. If you want to escape the city, High Park, the waterfront, and the Toronto Islands are great getaways from the busy city.
